The "Vinted Rule" (Platform Reporting)

Platforms like Vinted, eBay and Depop must send your data to HMRC if:

You sell 30+ items a year, OR
You receive ~£1,700+ (€2,000) a year

However: Selling your own old clothes (clearing the attic) is usually not "trading" and isn't taxable, even if platforms report it. You only pay tax if you buy/make things to sell for profit.
